Role Overview\nKenyatta University, a multi-campus public university in Kenya, is seeking an Information Systems Auditor (Grade 11). The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring security controls are effective, and auditing digital processes to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n- Conduct Internal Audit engagements in accordance with laid down regulations and guidelines.\n- Participate in the design and implementation of comprehensive annual audit programs encompassing information systems reviews.\n- Assess the robustness of controls within IT environments, including cybersecurity measures, data-protection protocols, and change-management processes.\n- Oversee the audit schedule to ensure assignments are completed on time and in accordance with the plan.\n- Conduct risk-based audit engagements, identify control deficiencies, and propose actionable enhancements.\n- Verify compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and professional auditing standards.\n- Draft and present clear, concise audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and remediation plans to management and key stakeholders.\n- Undertake any other lawful responsibilities as may be assigned by the Information Systems Auditor.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or its equivalent from an institution recognized in Kenya.\n- Must possess at least two (2) years of relevant experience as an Information Systems Auditor at Grade E/F or comparable duties and responsibilities.\n- Must be a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).\n- Qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) will be an added advantage.\n\n### Terms of Service\nThe terms of service include a competitive remuneration package comprising a basic salary, house allowance, medical cover as per the University Scheme, and leave allowance.\n\n### How to Apply\nApplicants should provide full details of educational and professional qualifications, work experience, present post and salary, telephone number, and e-mail address.
