Job Description

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the National Prosecuting Authority in Kenya, an independent authority established by Article 157 of the Constitution. The ODPP is mandated to prosecute all criminal cases in the country and is seeking to recruit five (5) Information Communication Technology Officers to strengthen its digital and technical capabilities.

Role Overview

As an Information Communication Technology Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the ICT infrastructure and system development needs of the ODPP. This includes maintaining systems that facilitate efficient prosecutorial services and ensuring the integrity of the organization's digital networks.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must possess the following:

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other Information Communication Technology-related discipline from a recognized institution.
Technical Skills: Programming skills and experience in the development of ICT systems using Python, Perl, PHP, or any other language will be considered a significant added advantage.
Integrity: Candidates must meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, which focuses on leadership and integrity standards.
