Imports & Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Import Management: Manage the import process from purchase order to final delivery. Prepare and process import documentation accurately and on time.
• Supplier & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with international suppliers to track orders and shipment schedules. Liaise with freight forwarders, clearing agents, shipping lines, and customs authorities.
• Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or logistical issues.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: Source suppliers and obtain quotations for goods and services. Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with suppliers. Raise purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely deliveries.
