Summit Recruitment & Search is seeking an ICT Assistant Manager for a client in the hospitality sector. This role involves administering the organization's hybrid network infrastructure, managing enterprise systems like Protel Air PMS and iSelz POS, and overseeing network security through FortiGate firewalls. The successful candidate will also manage ICT hardware procurement, CCTV surveillance networks, and drive digital transformation projects while ensuring data protection compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Network and System Administration: Assist in administering hybrid network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, Active Directory, Windows Server, DNS, FTP, and file-sharing services.
- Enterprise Systems Management: Support and optimize systems such as Protel Air PMS, iSelz POS, Infor Sun Financials, and Google Workspace, covering user management, error resolution, and module integrations.
- Network Security: Manage and monitor FortiGate firewalls, VLANs, NAT policies, IPS/IDS, and web filtering to maintain security across staff, guest, and back-office networks.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Oversee hybrid IP telephony and Onity room lock systems including encoder functionality and key card issuance.
- Surveillance and Media: Manage the organization-wide CCTV surveillance network and oversee in-house broadcast TV and entertainment systems.
- Asset and Vendor Management: Handle ICT hardware procurement, asset inventory (CMDB), software license renewals, and coordinate with vendors for system upgrades.
- Training and Support: Conduct ICT inductions for new staff, lead departmental system refresher trainings, and coordinate vendor-led sessions.
- Digital Transformation: Lead and support digital transformation projects and ensure data protection compliance and cyber hygiene.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or systems administration within the hospitality sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Proven hands-on experience with PMS, POS, and financial systems (Protel Air, iSelz, and Infor Sun Financials highly desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of network security, firewall administration (FortiGate), VLANs, and cloud/enterprise platforms.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Google Workspace administration, and IP telephony systems.
- Experience with CCTV systems, physical security infrastructure, and ICT asset and vendor management.
- Relevant certifications are an advantage: CCNA, CompTIA Security+/Network+, Microsoft Certified, or ITIL Foundation.
- Project management exposure (PMP or PRINCE2) and experience driving ICT CAPEX planning are added advantages.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training delivery skills.
