Job Description
Stratostaff is seeking a Human Resource Analyst to design, implement, and manage workforce solutions. The role involves managing HR Information Systems, compiling HR reports, overseeing employee benefits and insurances, supporting performance management, and facilitating key HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
HR Information Systems: HR4U Administration - support and maintenance of the system, update of system workflows, training and expert support to the business managers and employees, and escalation of issues to Head Office Support. Creation, exit, and modification of employee data on the Group Identifier Tool. Management of the Careers Tool - Support to Talent Developers in Kenya and the region as key correspondent and provide local helpdesk support to employees.
HR Reporting & Workforce Planning: Preparation of HR Dashboard and reports on reward & benefits (salary & benefit surveys, VCS reports, budgets), talent management reports (workforce plans, headcount, diversity, mobility, turnover), organizational memos, etc.
Benefits & Reward Management: Implementation of total reward schemes (annual salary reviews, quarterly bonus – VCS & MBO), implementation of salary & reward policy changes, co-ordination of employee wellness activities and programs, completion of compensation and benefits surveys, etc. Updates the Reward & Benefits rules and communicates the same to all staff.
Administering Staff Insurances & Medical Cover: In-patient & Out-patient medical cover, Group Life cover, Group Accident Cover, Poa Fund Cover, and any other staff-related Insurances.
Vendor Management: Set Service Level Agreements, monitor performance and compliance in liaison with the R&B Manager, and take appropriate action.
Performance Management Support: Providing support for performance management during annual appraisals and quarterly bonus reviews.
HR Projects: Provide support for HR Projects, Surveys, Job Evaluation, Audits, Union Negotiations, company events in liaison with 3rd parties and ADFM, and any other related projects.
Employee Communication Support: Communication on staff changes or any employee communication for circulation by HR Management.
Records Management: Ensuring up-to-date employee records. Custodian of HR records through management of the HR Registry.
Context & Environment
Handling of highly confidential and sensitive information.
Managing various requests for HR reports for Management support.
Ensuring prudent administration of the Company’s benefits scheme & managing interactions with multiple service providers.
Providing guidance to employees on various issues & interpretation of HR Rules and their application.
Accountabilities
Accurate, timely, and consistent HR Reports and records; management of the Company’s HRIS to ensure value addition to business.
Prudent management of Reward & Benefits within budget and approved policy guidelines.
Delivery of HR Projects within timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field (preferably in Human Resource Management).
Professional Certification in Human Resource Management from a reputable institution.
At least 3 years working experience in HR.
Superior MS Excel and MS Word skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, good communication, analytical & organization skills & a customer-oriented mindset.
