The HR & People Operations Manager will lead the People & Culture function at Ando, providing strategic direction and operational oversight during a critical phase of organisational scale. This role is designed for someone who can think strategically while enabling execution, helping build strong HR foundations, scalable structures, and a high-performance culture across multiple markets.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n#### Strategic HR Leadership\n* Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team on all people-related matters.\n* Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and role structuring.\n* Build and evolve a scalable People & Culture strategy aligned with business goals.\n\n#### HR Operations & Systems\n* Oversee HR operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.\n* Review and strengthen HR policies, frameworks, and internal controls.\n* Ensure effective execution of HR processes across locations.\n\n#### Talent & Workforce Planning\n* Lead hiring strategy across functions in line with growth priorities.\n* Ensure recruitment aligns with long-term organisational design and capability needs.\n* Support building strong pipelines for critical roles.\n\n#### Leadership Advisory & Employee Relations\n* Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on team structure, performance, and people challenges.\n* Handle complex employee relations matters with maturity and fairness.\n* Ensure consistent, compliant, and well-documented decision-making.\n\n#### Performance Management & Culture\n* Design and implement performance management frameworks and review cycles.\n* Drive initiatives to strengthen culture, accountability, and engagement.\n* Support leaders in building high-performing teams.\n\n#### Compliance & Governance\n* Ensure full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices.\n* Maintain strong governance across contracts, documentation, and policies.\n* Identify and mitigate people-related risks proactively.\n\n### Qualifications & Experience\n* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.\n* CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) certification is preferred.\n* Registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).\n* 3–5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or advisory role.\n* Experience in high-growth or scaling environments is strongly preferred.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply through the provided LinkedIn application link: .
