Job Description
Hemingways Hospitality Group is seeking to fill the position of HR Manager - Learning, Talent & Organisation Development to drive leadership capability, organisational effectiveness, and people performance across the Group. This role will also support HR teams on core HR operations and capability building as the business continues to grow and evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Capability, Learning & Talent Development
Lead Group-wide learning, leadership, and talent development initiatives aligned to business and growth strategy.
Design and deliver leadership, onboarding, technical, and compliance programmes.
Build scalable learning systems and internal training capability.
Performance, Succession & Leadership Readiness
Embed learning into performance management, succession planning, and career pathways.
Strengthen leadership pipeline and internal mobility across the Group.
Organisation Effectiveness & Workforce Design
Support organisation design, job architecture, role clarity, and workforce effectiveness initiatives.
Partner with Operations and HR teams to translate strategy into practical capability on the ground.
Drive Group-wide employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture, values alignment, and employee experience.
HR Operations & Capability Enablement
Provide advisory and hands-on support to HR teams on general HR operations, policy application, and people management practices.
Strengthen HR capability through coaching, guidance, and tools.
Governance, Measurement & Impact
Manage learning budgets, partners, and calendars.
Track, evaluate, and report on learning effectiveness and ROI.
Track and report on employee engagement metrics, retention insights, and culture indicators to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Learning & Development, Organisation Psychology, or a related business field.
Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in Learning & Development, Organisation Development, and/or generalist HR roles.
Strong experience in Learning & Development and Organisation Design.
Proven ability to translate business strategy into practical capability-building programmes.
Credible partner to senior leaders with strong facilitation and influencing skills.
Experience in hospitality, service, or complex operational environments preferred.
