Role Overview
CJ's Restaurants is seeking a lively, outgoing Hostess to join its team in Nairobi. CJ's is a fully-fledged restaurant specializing in delivering a relaxed and memorable dining experience across multiple locations. The Hostess will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests, seating them promptly, managing table flow, and setting a positive, welcoming tone for the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Warmly welcome, seat guests, and manage restaurant traffic flow.
Handle reservations and seamlessly assist the service team during peak hours.
Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and gather feedback.
Maintain clean, organized seating arrangements and up-to-date menus.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage Service or equivalent.
1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced or fine-dining restaurant.
Lively, outgoing personality with excellent personal grooming.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
