Guru Nanak Ramgarhia Sikh Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Matron to lead its nursing department. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Over the years, the hospital has been known for its wholesome care for patients which emphasizes on spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Provide leadership and management for the nursing department, overseeing all nursing activities.\n* Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care across all hospital departments.\n* Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards.\n* Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance to drive accountability and professional growth.\n* Ensure optimal staffing levels and the efficient deployment of nursing personnel.\n* Coordinate training and continuous professional development (CPD) programs for the nursing team.\n* Ensure all nursing practices comply with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) and other regulatory requirements.\n* Oversee infection prevention and control programs across the hospital.\n* Lead audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.\n* Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and cost control measures.\n* Work with medical, administrative, and support teams to improve overall service delivery.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).\n* Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) with a valid practicing license.\n* Minimum of 8–10 years of nursing experience.\n* At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or management role.\n* Demonstrated experience in hospital operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.\n* Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.\n* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested candidates are invited to send their application letter, detailed CV, and a copy of their valid practicing license to by .
