About the Role
Moja Expressway Company is seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Commercial Vehicle Driver to safely operate heavy vehicles, such as trucks and trailers, and transport goods to assigned destinations in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy commercial vehicles such as trucks and trailers.
Transport goods to assigned destinations in a timely and safe manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and unloaded.
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage.
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly.
Handle basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
Required Skills and Experience
Valid Driver's License for the corresponding position (preferably Class BCDE).
Proven experience of more than three (3) years operating transportation and construction equipment such as commuter vehicles, truck-mounted cranes, and aerial work platforms.
Aged 25-40 years.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Reliability and punctuality.
