Job Description
The Health Administrative Assistant III role involves providing essential administrative support within the Kisumu County health facilities. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of healthcare systems and management. This recruitment aims to fill five (5) positions to enhance service delivery within the county's health department.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative and management support to health facilities.
Ensuring hospital systems and administrative workflows function efficiently.
Managing records and documentation within the health department.
Coordinating hospital logistics and schedules.
Maintaining inventories of medical and office supplies.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
Kenyan Citizenship: Must be a citizen of Kenya.
Education: Diploma in any of the following areas: Health Care Management, Health System Management, Hospital/Health Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
Additional Information
Candidates with foreign degrees must have them authenticated by the Commission for University Education (CUE).
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit academic certificates authenticated by the issuing institutions during the interview.
Integrity clearances (Chapter 6 requirements) will only be required from successful applicants.
