Role Overview\n\nThe Head of Marketing at Vision Plus Kenya is a dual strategic leader and creative director. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at driving brand growth, revenue performance, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees all marketing operations across digital, retail, direct-to-consumer (D2C), and offline channels, ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n#### Strategic Planning & Execution\n* Develop marketing strategies aligned with revenue, customer service, NPS, and satisfaction goals.\n* Translate strategies into actionable plans for social media, retail, online vendors, and dealer networks.\n* Execute monthly themed campaigns to drive year-round customer engagement.\n* Maintain the brand's pitch decks and business profiles.\n\n#### Revenue & Performance Management\n* Manage D2C channel revenue and website optimization.\n* Execute digital campaigns to increase D2C revenue and optimize Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC).\n* Track and report on lead generation and marketing effectiveness.\n* Maintain data dashboards for strategic decision-making.\n\n#### Brand Guardianship & Creative Direction\n* Approve all visual assets and content as the brand's Creative Director.\n* Ensure adherence to brand voice, color palette, and guidelines.\n* Oversee product packaging design and maintain an image database.\n* Manage brand representation across all media channels.\n\n#### Channel Management & Dealer Support\n* Provide sales teams with marketing materials for regional effectiveness.\n* Oversee digital and print media for product awareness and sell-out rates.\n* Manage top dealer marketing programs and regional in-store activations.\n* Coordinate county licensing for out-of-home branding.\n\n#### Digital Marketing & Technology\n* Ensure the brand website serves as the definitive product information source.\n* Develop AI automations and experiments to improve departmental efficiency.\n* Audit CRM data for personalized marketing capabilities.\n\n#### Public Relations & Visibility\n* Secure media attention across TV, radio, and online platforms through PR plans.\n* Submit campaigns for industry awards like the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) and Digital Media Awards.\n\n#### Team Leadership & Collaboration\n* Lead and motivate the marketing team, fostering professional development.\n* Coordinate staff events and facility guest visits with HR.\n* Educate staff on new products and marketing activities.\n* Organize product testing sessions for partners.\n\n### Skills and Qualifications\n\n* Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.\n* Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.\n* Skilled in AI prompting and marketing automations.\n* Highly tech-savvy with the ability to implement digital solutions.\n* Proficient in developing metrics, dashboards, and data pipelines.\n* Proven ability to lead creative teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.\n\n### How to Apply\n\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their application through the Vision Plus recruitment portal on Zoho Recruit: or via the application link provided: .
