The successful candidate will provide leadership, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding English curriculum and contributing to the overall quality of academic provision.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Ethos: Promoting the Christian ethos of the school and establishing a culture of excellence within the department.
Academic Provision: Ensuring the delivery of excellent English provision at the Senior School and improving the overall quality of academic outcomes.
Assessment & Data: Developing and delivering outstanding assessment for learning in line with school policy. This includes ensuring accurate reporting data and identifying trends to improve student progress.
Strategic Management: Operating at a strategic level with vision, creativity, and imagination to represent the School at all levels.
Departmental Oversight: Managing and prioritizing a diverse workload, ensuring deadlines are met and the department operates effectively under pressure.

Curriculum Expertise: Experience in the outstanding delivery of the English curriculum and assessment materials.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality English curriculum and assessments.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage diverse workloads.
High work standards evidenced by a consistently thorough and organized approach.
