Job Description
MSVL Group is seeking a highly skilled Head Baker to lead its bakery department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily bakery operations, ensuring high-quality production, and leading a team of baking professionals. This role involves managing production schedules, innovating new recipes, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Bakery Production & Operations: Oversee daily bakery operations, manage production schedules, and ensure timely and efficient output.
Recipe Development & Product Innovation: Develop and standardize bakery recipes while introducing new products aligned with customer preferences and market trends.
Team Leadership & Staff Development: Train, mentor, and supervise bakery staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Quality Control & Food Safety: Ensure product consistency, maintain quality standards, and enforce compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchasing and sales teams, and support cost control and budgeting initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
6-9 years of experience in bakery production or related roles.
Strong professional baking and pastry expertise.
Experience in recipe development and bakery operations management.
Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
