Job Description
The Haulier Driver is responsible for the efficient and safe delivery of products to various depots within specified timelines. This role serves as a key ambassador for Crown Beverages Limited (a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company), requiring high levels of work ethics, values, and professionalism both on and off duty. The driver must be flexible and capable of adapting to abrupt program changes while maintaining a high standard of customer service and vehicle care.
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
Product Delivery
Ensure delivery of products to Depots within set timelines according to warehouse requirements.
Take full responsibility for stock carried in the vehicle, ensuring that loaded stock tallies with invoices.
Articulate and demonstrate work ethics and values as a brand ambassador.
Maintain flexibility to adapt to program changes at short notice.
Execute tasks following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Drivers.
Customer Service
Demonstrate excellent communication and customer care skills.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Vehicle Wellness
Monitor maintenance cycles and the overall well-being of the vehicle.
Operate the vehicle in a fuel-efficient manner.
Ensure trucks are clean (inside and outside) and in optimal working condition.
Maintain cleanliness in any other designated work areas.
Safety
Wear required protective clothing at all times while on duty.
Promptly report breakages, accidents, and irregularities and ensure necessary actions are taken.
Strictly adhere to company safety and health regulations at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Licensing: Valid driving license held for at least 3 years.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
