Job Description
The Haulier Driver is responsible for the efficient and safe transport of products to designated depots within set timelines. This role involves managing stock accuracy, maintaining vehicle health, and serving as a professional representative of the company (specifically Crown Beverages Limited) while adhering to all safety and operational standards.
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
Product Delivery
Delivery of products to the Depots with set timelines according to the products in the warehouse.
Take responsibility for stock carried in the vehicle and ensure that the stock loaded tallies with the invoices.
Clearly demonstrate the ability and willingness to articulate work ethics and values while at work and out of work, acting as an ambassador for Crown Beverages Limited.
Maintain flexibility and the ability to adapt to abrupt changes in programs at short notice.
Carry out instructions as per the issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Drivers.
Customer Service
Demonstrate good communication and customer care skills.
Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
Wellness of Vehicles
Monitor maintenance cycles and the overall well-being of the vehicle.
Drive the vehicle in a manner that is fuel-efficient.
Ensure all trucks are cleaned inside and outside and kept in good working condition.
Maintain cleanliness of the trucks and any other designated work areas.
Safety
Ensure protective clothing is worn while on duty.
Report breakages, accidents, and irregularities immediately and ensure appropriate action is taken.
Adhere to company safety and health regulations at all times.
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications
Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND qualification as per company requirements.
Must possess a valid driving license held for at least 3 years.
Experience
3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
