Job Description
The Sands Kenya offers a variety of accommodations throughout Diani, ranging from Kenya’s ‘only’ private island resort to a ‘barefoot luxury’ beachfront resort and budget-friendly options, catering to all types of travellers. We are looking for a warm, outgoing, proactive, and professional Guest Relations Officer to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless experience for all guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Meet & Greet: Welcome guests with a personalized, friendly service to create a positive first impression.
Guest Inquiry Management: Answer all guest enquiries and questions efficiently and professionally.
Front Desk Support: Manage guest check-ins and ensure all necessary documentation is handled.
Excursion Management: Handle activity and excursion bookings and follow through until completion to enhance guest experiences.
Inter-departmental Coordination: Coordinate with other key departments to ensure smooth stays and resolve any guest issues promptly.
Logistics Planning: Oversee guest transfer planning and handle restaurant reservations.
Requirements
Education: Possession of a BA, BSc, or HND qualification.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar guest relations or hospitality role.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Competencies: Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities with a passion for hospitality and high attention to detail.
