Group Project Manager

Role Overview

Emerge Egress Consulting (EEC), a management and training consultancy established in 2017, is seeking a Group Project Manager for one of its clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects across all subsidiary companies. This role requires a highly organized, strategic, and results-driven professional capable of managing cross-functional teams, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across diverse industries.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining quality and alignment with the Group’s overall strategic objectives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Project Oversight

• Align subsidiary projects with the Group's strategic goals.
• Support executive leadership in project prioritization and resource allocation.

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors for seamless execution.
• Ensure risk assessment and mitigation plans are developed and implemented.

Cross-Subsidiary Coordination

• Act as a central liaison between various subsidiaries.
• Ensure seamless communication and reporting across all business units.
• Identify operational synergies and efficiency improvements across the group.

Budget & Resource Management

• Prepare and manage comprehensive project budgets.
• Track project expenditures and ensure strict cost control.
• Optimize the allocation of human and financial resources across multiple projects.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for project and process improvement.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain high standards of quality across all project deliverables.

Job Specifications and Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Required).
• Master’s Degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in project management.
• Experience managing multi-sector or cross-functional projects.
• Experience in at least one of the following sectors is an added advantage: agriculture, logistics, events, or e-commerce.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver complex projects successfully.
