Mount Kenya University is seeking to recruit Graduate Assistants for the School of Law. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the academic functions of the School of Law, ensuring adherence to the curriculum, and assisting in the administration of student assessments and examinations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Dean, School of Law, the duties and responsibilities include:
Adherence to the teaching requirements as per the curriculum.
Administration of Continuous Assessments Tests (CATs).
Examination Setting, Administration, and Marking.
Carrying out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Law with at least an Upper Second-Class Honors.
Must be registered for a relevant Master’s degree programme.
At least one (1) year of experience in teaching at an academic institution.
Registration with a relevant professional body where applicable.
