Job Description
The County Government of Lamu is seeking a qualified Information Communication Technologist Instructor III to join their technical training team. This role involves providing instruction and training in Information Communication Technology (ICT) to learners, likely within the county's vocational training centers (VTCs) or polytechnics.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality technical instruction in Information Communication Technology.
Prepare and maintain training materials and lesson plans.
Assess and evaluate trainee performance through practical and theoretical tests.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of computer laboratory equipment.
Mentor and guide students in their career development within the ICT sector.
Requirements for Appointment
To be eligible for this role, candidates must:
Be a Kenyan Citizen and possess a National Identity Card or Passport.
Be a holder of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent.
Have a Diploma in Information Communication Technology or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Have acquired a Training of Trainers (ToT) certificate course from a recognized institution.
Have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
Important Information
Candidates with qualifications from foreign universities must provide proof of accreditation from the Commission for University Education.
