Job Description
The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking a Global HR Partner. This is a full-time, remote position supporting a distributed global workforce. The IEEFA is a nonprofit organization focused on promoting the transition to cleaner energy through research and analysis of energy markets and policies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Employer of Record Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for HR matters related to the Employer of Record (EOR), acting as a liaison between IEEFA and the EOR.
HR Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor for HR matters including personnel inquiries, policy/procedure interpretations, concerns, and conflict resolution. Refer complex or sensitive matters to the HR Director.
Strategic HR Support: Partner with the HR Director in the development and delivery of IEEFA’s HR strategy and initiatives, assisting in the analysis of workforce trends and metrics to support continuous improvement.
Recruitment: Lead complex recruitments. Provide comprehensive recruitment strategies to ensure high-quality and professional experiences for candidates and hiring managers.
HR Administration: Prepare formal HR correspondence including employment contracts, maintain accurate employee-related records in database(s), and facilitate orientation and other training programs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, with at least 2 years supporting leaders and personnel.
Experience supporting a distributed workforce.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working for an NGO/non-profit organization.
Experience leveraging AI tools for HR analytics.
HRCI or SHRM Certified Professional or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: USD $78,924 - $95,244 or local equivalent.
Benefits: Determined based on country of residence. Includes a one-time home office set-up allowance, monthly cell phone/internet stipend, optional co-working rental support, and a minimum of 20 days vacation and 10 days sick leave.
Work Schedule and Travel
Schedule: Remote, full-time. Due to collaboration with international teams, schedule includes early morning or later evening hours, compensated by schedule adjustments.
Travel: Generally not anticipated, except for attending scheduled IEEFA conferences and international retreats.
