Riara Group of Schools is seeking a qualified and experienced Geography/Business Studies Teacher to join their academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both Geography and Business Studies, fostering a conducive learning environment, and preparing students for national examinations (KCSE).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive lessons in Geography and Business Studies in accordance with the Kenyan national curriculum.
Prepare and guide students for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and practical work.
Maintain accurate student records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
Mandatory registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Kenya.
At least 5 years of experience in teaching Geography and Business Studies.
Demonstrated experience in teaching and preparing KCSE examination classes.
