The Makueni County Public Service Board is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Firefighter III (Re-advertisement) - 4 Posts.
Role Overview
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will undergo on-the-job training and will work under the supervision of an experienced officer.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform simple maintenance of fire-fighting appliances.
Assist during emergency cases and fire suppression operations.
Participate in continuous physical fitness and emergency training routines.
Requirements for Appointment
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade 'D' or its equivalent.
Firefighter III certificate or Fire Management Level 3 certificate from a recognized training school/institution.
First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance, Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT), or any other recognized institution.
Be physically fit.
Certified medically fit by a Government doctor.
Valid Police Clearance Certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
