The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for upholding high cleaning standards in a property by conducting daily cleaning and maintenance to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable stay. Hygiene team assistants ensure they execute daily cleaning and regular maintenance to maintain a clean and pest-free environment following provided Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They also ensure all working equipment is clean and functional, and provide feedback on resources to support continuous improvement.

Clean and maintain property to the highest cleaning standards.
Identify and report maintenance issues and pest attacks that might lead to customer dissatisfaction.
Address and interact with residents in a professional manner, promoting a care-oriented culture.

Report to work on time and follow the assigned work schedule.
Adhere to SOPs and policies while observing health and safety standards in all cleaning activities.
Efficiently use provided quality control tools.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of working equipment, cleaning them after use and reporting necessary repairs.
Execute scheduled spring cleaning or deep cleaning activities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Cost Optimization
Ensure adequate and proper use of cleaning materials and detergents.
Report inefficient cleaning materials or detergents to avoid wastage.
Requirements and Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in any hospitality-related course is an added advantage.
1–2 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
