Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is seeking a Finance Officer for their Shared Services Centre. The role is responsible for developing and implementing a robust financial operations model to enhance business performance and ensure seamless service delivery across business units. The successful candidate will ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while maintaining the integrity of financial management information systems at the country office level.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust financial operations model to enhance business performance and ensure seamless service delivery across business units.
Ensure timely, accurate, and complete processing of financial transactions and administrative tasks within financial operations.
Maintain and update accounting records to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial management information systems.
Implement and maintain effective financial accounting practices to enhance business performance.
Support the smooth running of financial operations in close collaboration with the Team Manager, Financial Operations – Shared Services Center.
Maintain and regularly update accounting records to ensure the reliability and integrity of financial management information systems at the country office level.
Qualifications and Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and Management.
Professional qualifications in accounting (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in a similar field, particularly with international NGOs or international development organizations.
Proficiency in both French and English is required.
Strong proficiency in MS Office suite.
Fast and accurate data capture skills.
