We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager with specific experience in the healthcare sector to lead our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure organizational stability.
Reporting & Compliance: Oversee comprehensive financial reporting and maintain strict compliance with international accounting standards.
Revenue Cycle Management: Manage the hospital revenue cycle, including billing procedures and insurance claims processing.
Cost Control: Monitor cost management and assess financial performance against established budgets.
Treasury Operations: Manage treasury functions and conduct cash flow forecasting.
Strategic Analysis: Ensure accurate financial analysis is provided to support strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and insurers.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure all statutory financial obligations and tax regulations are met in a timely manner.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
Strong expertise in Budgetary Control and Cost Management.
Deep understanding of Financial Reporting, Compliance, and financial systems/tools.
Expertise in Strategic Financial Management and Planning.
Competence in Risk and Internal Control Management.
Advanced Analytical and Financial Modelling skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Professional qualification such as CPA (K) or ACCA is mandatory.
Registered member in good standing with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
A Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is highly preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of finance experience, preferably gained within healthcare or complex service environments.
