The Graduate Finance Trainee role is designed to support the finance department in managing receivables, payables, and inventory processes. As a trainee, you will gain practical experience and develop core financial skills within an organization supported by Google that provides an advanced smart distribution platform for cold chain services.
Key Responsibilities
Receivables (Accounts Receivable)
Post invoices to the Zoho Accounting system.
Record payments and maintain/reconcile customer accounts.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
Resolve customer concerns in collaboration with Relationship Managers (RMs).
Handle invoice filing and ensure the receipt of relevant documentation.
Payables (Accounts Payable)
Process and verify supplier bills against supporting documents.
Record payables transactions accurately.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation and approval workflows.
Stock / Inventory Management
Participate in periodic stock counts and stock-take exercises.
Reconcile physical stock with system records.
Manage stock segregation and record stock movements accurately.
Support inventory control and audit processes.
Expected Reports
Daily Cash On Delivery (COD) reports.
Weekly COD and CREDIT reports.
Daily stock on hand reports.
Daily stock segregation reports.
Qualifications and Skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Mandatory: Minimum qualification of CPA II certification.
Preferred: 6 months to 1 year of relevant attachment or internship experience in Accounting receivables, payables, or inventory management.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
High level of integrity and a willingness to learn.
