We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team.\n\n### Role Summary\nThe Finance Assistant will be responsible for managing the accounts payable function, maintaining accurate financial records within the Sage accounting system, and supporting the broader finance functions of our Estate Management division. This role requires high attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Manage the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of supplier ledger accounts and prompt settlement of supplier payments in line with company policy.\n- Maintain the Sage accounting system by posting all fully supported invoices and performing regular supplier reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.\n- Request supplier statements to facilitate timely reconciliations and follow up on any missing invoices. Verify and confirm that all payments (including cheques) are properly supported with valid and complete documentation prior to processing.\n- Assist in maintaining proper bookkeeping records for Estate Management and prepare and issue rent and service charge invoices.\n- Follow up with the procurement department to ensure timely submission of supplier invoices.\n- Support the Accounts Receivable function and perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.\n- Must have CPA qualification.\n- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a busy accounting office, preferably in payables.\n- Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel.
