The Role
As the Field Technician, you will be responsible for administrative and mechanical maintenance of the company assets. This will involve installing, monitoring and tracking the company assets. Key Responsibilities
Asset Readiness & Disbursement
Inspect all company assets on delivery and assess their mechanical condition before signing delivery notes.
Report any delivered damaged or faulty assets to the Branch Executive, Procurement Officer, and General Manager.
Capture and record newly received assets and accessories into the ERP system immediately after offloading.
Ensure all assets are well branded, stored securely, and organized systematically for timely disbursement.
Verify that assets ready for disbursement are captured in CRM and ERP, and are active/traceable on the Tugende dashboard.
Pick and pack all disbursed company assets and accessories on the disbursement date.
Inventory and Warehousing Management
Record all second-hand bikes returned to the Branch.
Update the ERP inventory register with specific asset details (Brand, Color, Value).
Maintain branch inventory in a clean and organized manner, ensuring physical counts tally with ERP records.
Install and uninstall GPS tracker units as required.
Monitor GPS stock levels and advise procurement on restocking needs.
Provide inventory snapshot reports as required.
Document Management
Manage and file signed/scanned soft and hard copies of all delivery notes for assets, accessories, and spare parts.
Generate picking lists from the ERP and ensure they are signed by the client.
Perform daily reconciliation of physical stock vs. system records to prevent asset loss.
Sales, After-Sales & Asset Maintenance
Meet assigned branch monthly sales targets.
Ensure all client and staff assets are active, traceable, and maintained in good working condition.
Maintain a tracker for all company assets.
Record asset inspections and update repair/service details on the CRM Database.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering, or Motor Vehicle mechanics from a certified and recognized institution.
Experience: At least one (1) year of working experience as a mechanic or electrician with a reputable organization or institute.
License: Must have a valid motorbike riding license (Mandatory).
Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with motorcycle and car assembly and repairs.
Skills and Attributes
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Ability to interpret and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
Adaptability to flexible shifts and changing work schedules.
Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
Knowledge of health and safety issues related to motorcycle use (electrical, mechanical, and chemical risks).
