Kinetic Controls provides electrical and mechanical maintenance services in Kenya. The company is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to manage maintenance and troubleshooting tasks within a fast-paced environment. The role involves ensuring the efficiency and safety of electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, and interpreting technical drawings to maintain operational standards in a manufacturing or production setting. Responsibilities include performing electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on various equipment and systems, handling and managing electrical equipment efficiently, and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics to ensure correct installation and repair. You will adhere to and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the electrical industry and collaborate with team members to ensure minimal downtime in production environments. Qualifications include a BSc., Diploma, or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, and Controls. Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, proven expertise in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, and proficiency in handling Electrical Equipment. Knowledge of safety protocols and training in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or First Aid is an added advantage. EPRA or NCA certifications are highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are required.
