This role involves data collection, community engagement, and supporting research activities that inform decision-making and policy insights within Tana River County.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct field interviews and collect high-quality data using mobile/tablet devices.
Engage professionally with local communities and stakeholders to ensure accurate information gathering.
Support research activities and adhere to data collection protocols.
Report on daily progress to fieldwork supervisors.
General Requirements
Must be a resident of Tana River County.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in research or fieldwork.
Ability to engage professionally with local communities.
Minimum Requirements
Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
Have at least three (3) years of experience in data collection.
Be proficient in Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) platforms, including ODK, Survey CTO, Kobo Collect, and Survey To Go.
Own a tablet or smartphone running Android 10 or higher, with a minimum of 4 GB RAM and a screen size of at least 6 inches.
Be available for field assignments for the next three months.
Provide a recommendation letter from a previous employer or supervisor.
