Baker Hughes, a top-tier oilfield service company with a century-long track record, is seeking a Field Engineer for Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) and Directional Drilling (DD) services. This role involves learning under direct supervision to operate and maintain specialized drilling tools and services at well sites.
Key Responsibilities
Learn to operate and maintain logging-while-drilling and directional drilling tools and services under direct supervision.
Read well plans and execute directional drilling operations.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment at the wellsite.
Execute all responsibilities safely as described in work instructions.
Conduct business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Core Values.
Complete all required training and development programs within the Applications Engineer-1 Program and local training initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
General knowledge of basic engineering principles.
Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to become proficient in running basic logging-while-drilling (LWD) jobs and services.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to experienced peers.
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work within a global matrix organization.
Willingness and ability to travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, and trainings.
