Mogo Finance is seeking a Field Collection Team Lead to oversee and coordinate the activities of field agents in the debt collection process. This role is crucial for ensuring team performance targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and debt collection procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Assign cases for field visits to field agents and coordinate daily performance tracking to ensure specialists have necessary support.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance by communicating clear goals, motivating team members, and addressing internal issues.
Performance Management: Drive high performance through clear communication of expectations and develop strategies to ensure adherence to debt collection policies.
Training & Onboarding: Assist with the induction of new hires, identify training needs, prepare materials, and recommend external training where necessary.
Process Improvement: Conduct regular team meetings to update staff on process changes and target achievements. Submit suggestions for improving the debt collection process.
Reporting & Systems: Monitor the usage of Field Collection tools and the ERP system. Generate and share detailed performance reports and ensure repossessed assets (e.g., bikes) align with Redash reports.
Requirements
Education: A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: At least four years of relevant experience in debt collection or field operations.
Languages: Fluency in both English and Swahili is required.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Attributes: High level of loyalty and integrity, with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing environments.
