Under the supervision of the FCLP Deputy Director, Policy, the Carbon Markets Senior Officer will assist the co-leads (Ghana, Paraguay, and the UK) in coordinating workplans and delivering the 2026 policy objectives. This role has a specific focus on the preparations for the Forest and Climate Leaders' Partnership (FCLP) intervention at London Climate Action Week.
Key Responsibilities
Policy and Coordination: Coordinate workplans to deliver 2026 policy objectives, specifically focusing on the FCLP intervention at London Climate Action Week.
Event Planning: Coordinate the planning, preparation, and delivery of FCLP outputs and events linked to London Climate Action Week, including stakeholder engagement, briefing materials, and logistical coordination.
Project Management: Lead the delivery of 6 agreed outputs as defined by the FCLP working group and develop project management documents for tracking and reporting.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the JREDD+ Coalition Coordination Group and support day-to-day operational management and governance processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular engagement with FCLP co-leads and members to ensure alignment of messaging. Develop relationships with external stakeholders leading complementary initiatives.
Secretariat Support: Attend weekly FCLP meetings and support cross-cutting events as a core member of the Secretariat.

Qualifications and Experience
Education:
An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) preferably in environmental studies, international relations, political or business administration, or related fields.
OR a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
OR minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
