KIPS Technical College, a premier tertiary institution mandated by the TVET Authority, is seeking an Experienced Corporate Outfitter (Tailor). This role is centered on high-quality garment construction and outfitting, while also requiring the candidate to hold an instructor certification to support technical training within the college.
Responsibilities
Execute high-quality tailoring and corporate outfitting tasks.
Design, cut, and stitch professional garments according to specified standards.
Provide instructional guidance to students within the technical training programs.
Maintain high standards of garment finishing and quality control.
Lead and manage tailoring projects within the department efficiently.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tailoring equipment.
Requirements
Must hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field (e.g., Fashion Design, Tailoring).
Possession of a relevant Instructor Certification is mandatory.
3 to 4 years of professional experience in a similar setup (technical college or professional tailoring environment).
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated flexibility and leadership qualities.
