Job Description
Hillcrest International Schools seeks to recruit an Executive Chef who will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the school. The primary objective is to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety while managing kitchen staff and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all culinary operations within the school environment.
Ensure meals meet the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
Manage and lead kitchen staff, fostering a professional environment.
Control food budgets and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
Develop and innovate appealing and nutritious menus.
Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, health and safety standards, and food safety regulations.
Support the smooth operation of school events and catering services.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Degree in Hospitality Management, a Diploma in Food Production, or a relevant qualification.
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within a school, hospitality, or catering environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, health & safety standards, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to innovate and develop appealing menus.
Experience in budget management and cost control.
Culinary qualification or relevant certification.
