Equipment Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Build Equipment Flow strategies based on import and export flows.
• Drive equipment cost-saving initiatives across operations.
• Engage key stakeholders across the organization.
• Manage the supply and evacuation of equipment.
• Align regional stock levels with global HQ targets.
• Lead equipment-related projects within the region.
• Ensure inventory meets export booking forecasts.
• Collaborate with vendors and Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) teams for high service quality.
• Reduce container dwell time and long-standing inventory.
• Ensure high data accuracy and reliable reporting.
• Coordinate central equipment initiatives.
• Deliver a high quality customer experience.
• Plan equipment positioning based on market demand.
• Operate in terminals where dedicated depots are unavailable.

Key Accountabilities & Metrics

• Accountable for: Stock levels, equipment costs, execution of empty flow & vessel utilization, equipment availability, off-hire/losses, customer experience, and supplier relationships.
• Key Metrics: Flow balance, network flow, service delivery, inland flow, forecast accuracy, longstanding inventory, positioning costs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree background (BA / BSc / HND) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership and communication skills.
• Results-driven and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within multicultural teams.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
