Laterite is a data, research, and technical advisory firm that helps clients understand and analyze complex development challenges. We are looking for brilliant and highly motivated individuals to assist with our fieldwork activities in Kenya. These positions are offered on a project-basis. Successful candidates will be added to our database and contacted based on the availability of positions.
The recruitment covers several field staff roles including:
Enumerator: Conducting data collection and interviews.
Translator: Translating research materials.
Transcriber: Converting audio recordings into text.
Audio Auditor: Reviewing audio files for quality.
Transcript Auditor: Reviewing transcripts for accuracy.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support fieldwork activities on a project-by-project basis.
Engage in data collection, translation, transcription, or auditing depending on the specific role assigned.
Ensure high standards of accuracy and data quality in all research tasks.
Work effectively with project teams to meet research objectives in various regions across Kenya.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field.
Experience: At least one year of relevant professional experience.
Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
Language Skills: Ability to speak at least one local Kenyan language is required.
