The County Government of Lamu is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Entrepreneurship Instructor III. This role is focused on providing high-quality instruction and training in entrepreneurship to students within the county's vocational training framework. The goal is to empower learners with the skills and mindset necessary to start and manage successful business ventures.
Responsibilities
Deliver classroom and practical instruction in entrepreneurship and business management.
Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and instructional aids to facilitate learning.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and practical projects.
Maintain student records, including attendance and performance data.
Mentor and provide guidance to students interested in pursuing self-employment or business careers.
Ensure that the training environment is conducive to learning and adheres to safety standards.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate must:
Be a Kenyan Citizen (National Identity Card/ Passport).
Be a holder of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent.
Have a Diploma in Entrepreneurship or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
Have acquired a Training of Trainers (ToT) certificate course from a recognized institution.
Have a Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
