Job Description
The County Government of Nandi is looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Enrolled Nurse II. This role involves providing essential nursing care and healthcare support within the county's medical facilities.
Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care and treatment to patients in accordance with established standards.
Assist in patient management and the delivery of primary healthcare services.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Support immunization programs and health education initiatives within the community.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the relevant medical staff.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Certificate in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Enrolled Nurse, Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nurse, Enrolled Nursing, Kenya Enrolled Midwifery, Kenya Enrolled Nursing/Midwifery, or Kenya Enrolled Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
An Enrolled Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
A valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Proficiency in computer applications.
