Kenya Airways is seeking candidates for the Engineering Apprentice Technician Program. The purpose of this role is to attend basic aircraft maintenance courses, pass company examinations, and acquire a basic KCAA license without type rating.
Responsibilities
Attend Induction and Mandatory courses.
Attend basic aircraft maintenance courses.
Pass company examinations.
Perform assigned maintenance tasks while on attachment (On-the-Job Training).
Prepare and plan for the KCAA license without type rating examinations.
Perform and/or participate in additional activities/events that help build a strong network.
Work closely with experienced engineering teams throughout the training cycle.
Skills
Knowledge of KCARs (Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations)
Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals
Good knowledge of aircraft systems
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
Requirements & Qualifications
Aeronautical/Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma or HND or equivalent from a recognized institution.
KCSE aggregate C+ with C+ in Mathematics, English, and Physics or equivalent.
Proof of attachment when on training.
At least 2-3 years of Aircraft maintenance experience.
