St. Ruth School, located in the serene Kentmere Area of Red Hill, Limuru, offers Montessori kindergarten and primary education. We are looking for qualified Early Childhood Development (ECD) Teachers to join our dedicated team. The teachers will be responsible for planning and executing appropriate activities for the children each day, ensuring alignment with the curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute age-appropriate daily activities for children.
Implement the school curriculum through well-structured schemes of work and lesson plans.
Create a supportive and engaging Montessori-based classroom environment.
Monitor and document the development and progress of each child.
Incorporate creative activities such as music, arts, and crafts into the daily schedule.
Maintain professional communication with parents and school management.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Diploma in Early Childhood Development (ECD) is mandatory.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an early childhood setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a proactive self-starter with a passion for teaching young children.
Additional skills such as Music, French, ICT, or Arts & Crafts are considered a major advantage.
