Job Description
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the National Prosecuting Authority in Kenya, mandated by the Constitution to prosecute all criminal cases in the country. The Office is an independent prosecutorial authority established by Article 157 of the Constitution. ODPP is currently seeking to recruit fifteen (15) qualified individuals for the position of Driver II.
Qualifications and Requirements
For appointment to this grade, an applicant must have:
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Mean Grade D+.
Licensing: A valid driving license.
Technical Certifications:
Suitability test for driver grade III conducted by the Ministry of Roads and Public Works.
Occupational Trade Test III conducted by the Ministry of Roads and Public Works.
Professional Training:
Defensive driving certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
First Aid training lasting not less than one (1) week within every three years at the Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution.
Compliance and Health:
Annual certificate of eye examination.
Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
Compliance with the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
