Role Overview
The University of Nairobi is seeking a professional Driver for the Engage Project. This is a full-time position based in Nairobi. The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate travel for various project activities across six (6) regions while ensuring the safety and maintenance of the project vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation: Facilitate travel for various project activities across six (6) designated regions.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the assigned project vehicle is well-maintained and in good working condition.
Policy Compliance: Strictly adhere to the organization's motor vehicle use policy.
Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive vehicle logs, including tracking fuel consumption, mileage, and service records.
General Support: Perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess at least a KCSE certificate or an equivalent qualification.
Must have a valid driving license, class BCE.
Must have a valid certificate of good conduct.
Have at least five (5) years’ experience driving in a Public Institution(s) and/or donor-funded programs.
Possession of a PSV certificate will be considered an added advantage.
