Job Description
As a Draughtsman at CDL Human Resource, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and architectural plans based on given specifications and calculations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, precision, and site supervision to ensure project adherence to established standards and safety protocols.\n\n### Duties and Responsibilities\n* Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and architectural plans based on given specifications and calculations.\n* Prepare and present detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by the architect.\n* Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.\n* Use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to prepare drawings.\n* Supervise contractor and vendor work to reduce project delays through proactive planning.\n* Ensure contractor compliance with project specifications.\n* Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices for continuous improvement.\n* Ensure conformance to customer specifications, company standards, and other regulatory requirements.\n* Ensure equipment installation quality and conduct regular safety inspections/compliance.\n* Ensure all workers follow PPE and hazard prevention measures.\n* Ensure adherence to engineering and industry standards.\n* Assist in budget estimation and control project expenses.\n* Monitor and manage inventory of construction materials.\n* Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement follows cost-effective methods.\n* Guide and train workers on technical skills and safety.\n* Maintain detailed project records and documentation and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.\n* Track and report any project risks or bottlenecks and address project-related concerns.\n\n### Requirements\n* Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Drawing from a recognized institution.\n* Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks.\n* 8 to 10 years of experience as a draftsman.\n* Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.\n* Ability to translate concepts onto paper and visualize in three-dimensional terms.\n* Commitment to accuracy and manual dexterity.\n* Great mathematical and cost management skills.\n* Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.\n* Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry standards.
