The DPW Coordinator I (Tier 2) coordinates and supports the Department of Public Works (DPW) function across assigned projects. This role involves scheduling multi-departmental public works activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and technical specifications, conducting inspections, and supervising public works personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support assigned Department of Public Works functions.
Schedule and coordinate departmental activities within the public works division to ensure timely service delivery.
Report operational status of the organization to public works and site management.
Provide technical assistance and public works support to ongoing projects.
Interpret codes, specifications, and standards to ensure compliance during service execution.
Perform audits and inspections of public works activities for conformance with specified requirements.
Deliver instruction and training on specialized processes and procedures.
Liaise with company management, project leaders, designers, and client representatives to establish public works programs.
Train, schedule, and supervise subordinate public works staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic & Other Requirements
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 to 8 years of related experience in public works or civil/technical support.
Strong job knowledge, skill level, and physical ability to perform duties.
Intermediate English language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension) to ensure safety and security compliance.
