The Director, Commercial Services provides effective leadership and strategy for service delivery, revenue generation, and customer satisfaction. The appointment is for a period of five (5) years, renewable once, based on performance and business needs.\n\n### Key Responsibilities and Duties\n* Ensure provision of timely and high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations.\n* Oversee and ensure timely, complete, and accurate reading and billing of services and revenue collection.\n* Manage and supervise commercial aspects of operations, specifically meter reading, billing, and customer enrollment.\n* Develop short and long-term business strategies and operating plans reflecting company goals and priorities.\n* Ensure the provision of comprehensive commercial information systems, including up-to-date customer databases.\n* Formulate directorate policies, procedures, and action plans aligned with the company mission.\n* Develop and implement a modern customer service charter to enhance service delivery.\n\n### Education and Work Experience\n* A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.\n* A Master’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, or a business-related field.\n* A minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience, five (5) of which must be in senior management.\n* Demonstrated high performance and leadership in previous roles.\n* Proven experience in Public Sector Management.\n\n### Required Skills and Competencies\n* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\n* High computer literacy and proficiency with standard office computer applications.\n* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict timelines.\n* Strong understanding of utility systems for customer identification, billing, and motivating staff toward revenue goals.\n\n### How to Apply\nAll applications must be received by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, 1st April 2026.
