Our client in the Telecommunications sector seeks to recruit a Direct Sales Agent (DSA) to market and sell Company products and services to all customers in a professional manner. The role requires adhering to and functioning within the guidelines for finance controls, processes, and policies that encompass retail operations mandate.
Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to market and sell company products and services to customers professionally. The candidate will work under the Shop Team Leader to drive retail operations and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Generate Sales: Meet and exceed targets for Airtime, Acquisitions, and Devices.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and consignment stock (specifically for Telkom) to ensure accurate daily balances of physical stock and inventory movements.
Financial Management: Manage the daily cash float and provide accurate accounting for daily sales.
Customer Experience: Support and implement strategies to improve customer experience and drive increased sales.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers, particularly in the configuration of data devices.
Qualifications and Experience
Academic Qualification: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a sales-related role.

Technical: Marketing skills, Product Knowledge, Upselling and Cross-selling, Solution-Oriented, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
