Job Description
The Design & Drafting Specialist (CAD/BIM) is responsible for developing accurate technical drawings and coordinating on-site execution, ensuring projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and architectural plans based on given specifications and calculations.
Prepare and present detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures according to specifications provided by the architect.
Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards.
Use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to prepare drawings.
Supervise contractor and vendor work to reduce project delays through proactive planning.
Ensure contractor compliance with project specifications.
Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
Ensure conformance to customer specifications, company standards, and other regulation requirements.
