Role Overview
Tatu City Limited is seeking a qualified Architect to join their projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating designs for new construction projects, alterations, and redevelopments. This role involves leading the design development process, ensuring project integration with the city's master plan, and overseeing the quality of construction through site inspections and technical reviews.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Planning: Create designs for new construction, alterations, and redevelopments. Lead the production of schematic designs, design development, and construction drawings.
Compliance and Quality: Review new projects for compliance with the master plan to ensure smooth integration. Lead the quality assurance team during construction and perform site inspections as required.
Technical Documentation: Utilize computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans. Prepare drawings and specification documents for conceptual, schematic, and detailed design phases, as well as the supervision stage.
Project Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and maintain project design schedules. Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams.
In-house Design: Undertake the in-house design of projects that are within the capabilities of the Projects Office.
Review and Research: Review architectural shop drawings and material submittals. Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
Stakeholder Management: Interface with all stakeholders as required for fulfilling architectural duties.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized University.
Must be a Registered Architect.
Minimum of 5 years professional experience, specifically with hotels, high-rise, and mixed-use developments.
Proficiency in ArchiCAD, 3D drawings, rendering, and general computer skills.
Proven experience in supervising and supporting construction sites.
Demonstrated track record of meeting financial business plans, budgets, and project schedules.
Experience in procurement support.
Advanced knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices.
Ability to move multiple projects ahead in an organized and collaborative manner.
Ability to handle multiple tasks under timeline demands with a high level of expected results.
